I am such a geek and absolutely love Mario so imagine my excitement when I came across this absolutely gorgeous latex Mario costume from Shhh! Couture. I am excited just thinking about it.
Kind of puts my Halloween costume in 2009 to shame however.
Thanks to this image I have also come across the very talented Janine Basil who made that amazing sparkly hat.
She is just as equally talented but I think she needs an entire blog post, for me to show all the amazing items for sale.
Here are some of the final images from the shoot with the wonderful Helen Norman.
I had a fantastic time working with this team. Everybody was an absolute delight to work with and truly talented. They all put a complete different look on my garments which I love. I would highly recommend working with each of them
I have fallen head over heals for these gorgeous latex dresses for Kaoris Latex Dreams. It's brands like this that have really pushed latex forward in the past few years. Avant Garde designs, top end couture and now applique and digital print, what more could you ask for?
Freya have launched a new competition to find a new blog star.
All you need to do to enter is give a preview of your first blog by completing this. I fell in love with Freya when... You need to either answer this in no more than 40 words or can upload a video of no more than 30 seconds. Entrants need to be 18 years and above and live in the UK The closing date for the first round is 22nd April, with four finalists being put to public vote between the 3rd and 16th May.
And whats even better than being able to blog for one of the most successful plus size companies, you get loads of free stuff.
My favourites have to be A new set of lingerie or swimwear every month VIP access to the Freya factory and fit school Passes to the annual Moda lingerie fair. and these are just three, there are plenty more.
As a lingerie graduate I don't think the prizes could get any better, so what are you waiting for?
At the end of January I blogged about Theo Paphitis' new lingerie brand Boux Avenue.
The wait now is finally over and Boux Avenue is officially open. Their online store went live on the 1st April and their 8 UK stores have been opening since then with the last opening on the 8th April
Today is the first real chance I have had to look at what they had to offer, and they definitely do not disappoint. Having already known that Boux Avenue's size ranges were to include up to a 40G cup, I was still surprised to find 3 pages of DD+ bras. I often find myself lusting over the smaller bras in shops, only to find that if they do have it in a DD+ cup, it doesn't live up to the overall look of the smaller bra. But not in this case. What they have to offer is far from mundane, and for most cases, those prettier smaller bras I am drawn to, also come in the larger sizes, with every effort to keep the same fabric, design and appeal. Boux Avenue lingerie is split in to two categories this season Vintage Garden Party and Burlesque Boudoir.
There are pages worth of beautiful lingerie, but i have chosen my favourites from each theme. All the bras I have chosen to feature are those which have sizes in DD+.
These are just a few of my personal favourites, and there are plenty of other sizes available with some ranges in the following sizes, bras up to a 40G, knickers up to a size 20, Suspenders, babydolls and slips up to a size 18.
And if nothing above takes your fancy then there are whole ranges for more everyday wear in black and white, nightwear and loungewear in a range of cottons and homewear pieces to fill your home with a little bit of Boux Avenue.
